We Live by the Seasons is a photographic series rooted in observation, reflection, and a deep respect for both people and place. Created by Deanna Meadow Fitch, this book explores life on the Fitch Family Farm in Cornish, New Hampshire, a farm that marked its 250th anniversary, or one thousand seasons, in 2021.
Through captivating imagery taken throughout the seasons and thoughtful narration, Deanna weaves together the stories of the current generation with highlights from those who came before. The result is an expansive collection of images that shares the essence of a place where the past is always present, and where a tree is not just a tree. It has roots, purpose, and meaning.
